As I started to read this book I knew I’d love it. It’s such an honest and true discussion about creativity. I feel like I needed someone to push me into the creative living & helped me to understand that creativity is such a magical and beautiful thing to own. It’s what makes us special and different from others. And I’m not just talking about artistic creativity but all kind of passions that you have inside.
It’s not about being an artist nor even being good at creating but creation in itself. We must create despite what others say, what others think. Despite our fears and doubts. We just have to CREATE.
A book full of positivity, joy and enthusiasm towards life that will change the way you see the world, the way you decide to look around you and the way you choose to live your creative life.
“A creative living is any life that is driven more strongly by curiosity than by fear”
Don’t care about others, they will effectively, judge and give you opinions that you might like or not. But this shouldn’t prevent you from creating. Because others are more likely to look after themselves than thinking of you all the time. Your work will eventually be forgotten by strangers, but you will always have this reward to look at something unique, that has grown inside you and you’ll always can be proud to call it as your own creation.
Something that just you can conceive, something that being created by someone else would have been completely different. Because that idea, at that time, just belongs to you.
It doesn’t have to be perfect- sometimes perfection tears us apart from creating because we think that such perfection is unreachable- it just have to BE.
Let’s all overcome self-doubt and fear and let’s embrace curiosity and creativity in order to find the magic inside us.
“One of the oldest and most generous tricks that the universe plays on human beings is to bury strange jewels within us all, and then send back to see if we can ever find them”
