Valentine’s Day Chocolates

Happy Valentine’s day!!

Here, in Barcelona, it’s starting to look a lot like spring and that makes me really happy and excited, can’t wait. Another thing that I’m excited about is to share this recipe with you. It’s been ages since I don’t post a recipe and I tought that today was the perfect day to show you how to do the most amazing/easy chocolates for such a special day. And maybe I can help you if you have completely forgotten about the day and have no ideas. 😉 You’ll need two ingredients and five minutes. Take note.

Ingredients:

1/2 bar of dark chocolate

200 g of hazelnuts

Recipe:

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

When the chocolate is still hot, add the hazelnuts and mix well until they are all covered in chocolate.

Put in a tray the hazelnuts in little groups of four (three in the bottom and one on top) and let them cool down. You can put them in the refrigerator if you want.

P.S. I was feeling creative and played with the hazelnuts to make everything look better. I sprinkled some mashed hazelnuts on top and put saffron to give it a touch of colour.

And now, enjoy the good of the simple things.

Let me know what you think

Anna

xx

  1. i’m so envious that Barcelona has such warming temps already. there is snow on our streets today and will be record lows this week. the one time i visited spain it was in December and so cold. i’ve already told my dearest friend Nuria that when i visit again, it will be during much warmer times.
