Back from London and I’m a little bit sad to be at home because we’ve had such a good time. It was really, like REALLY cold but didn’t rain at all so I guess it’s fine. We walked so much and took so many pictures that now that I’m home and looking back to all the photos I took, I’ve decided to do a post for each day.
The first day we arrived early in the morning and stayed in the Wombats City Hostel. Honestly one of the best youth hostels that I’ve ever been, cheap, clean, nice people, nice staff, nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was great and the decoration sublime. The only thing that I can say is: definitely go there if you are planning to go to London. You’ll sleep in a room with people that you don’t even know and they may be from other countries. That’s the perfect excuse to get to know new people. I love youth hostels and the people that’s in there, they are all so friendly. In our room we had three girls from Chicago, one girl from Australia and two guys from Brazil (one for each continent, that’s funny). There’s also a common kitchen and a bar, perfect if you don’t want to spend a lot of money in food (London is EXPENSIVE, just warning).
We spent the rest of the day visiting London (of course). We visited the center (Big Ben, Westminster… ), strolled through Green park and St. James park and, after lunch, we went to Camden market. I’d recomend you to buy an Oyster card to travel with the tube, as that’s the cheapest way.
Here are some pictures I took
